I hear the term “desperate to get married” all the time, what gives? I haven’t met too many folks who are really that desperate, this would mean that those peeps would be marrying the first person that came along and we wouldn’t have a shidduch crisis(if you believe all the hype that is). I think that the over usage of the term desperate to describe someone who’s “eager” just makes people appear to be Nebs when they aren’t. Why do folks need to use that term? It doesn’t make people sound good and it makes no sense.
