I have a feeling that most of the hatred directed at chabad for their “rebbe worship” is because most other chassidic groups aren’t accessible to just any old shmo off the street. Not only are chabadnicks the “missionaries” of the Jewish world, they speak English and they allow access that most other chassidic sects will never allow. This video was just sent to me and it shows a practice called Sherayim which seems kind of Jesus wafer-esque to me. The video kind of reminds me of a bunch of people at a concert waiting for freebees or at a baseball game trying to catch a home run ball. The announcement at the beginning is telling people not to jump on the tables.
