Someone from the Jewish Star called me up the other day to talk about how The Groggers were like a “frum satire” style band and I couldn’t agree more. I;ve got to hand it to Eli Staimen who can just bust out a song whenever some new Jewish news story hits the internet. I was super impressed with their Stern Girl tefillin date song and this song was put out right when Matisyahu shaved his beard.
