Shidduch date gone bad

The girl is obviously not Chassidish, and the video should have been longer – but it’s hilarious in my opinion

Not too funny at all.

I also thought she was more Lubavitch.

I get the whole “humor by stereotyping” thing. I really do. But WTF? Where does the pigging out before the date gets there thing come in? When was the last time that happened in real life? Do frum girls answer their phones and gab away during a date? I don’t get where half of these things come in. This one doesn’t work Hesh, sorry.

Frum girls definitely do answer their phones on dates – and while I think this was all meant for fun, I have been and seen many dates in which the girl or boy was served first and started to eat – many frummies do not wait until everyone is served to start eating – we learn this in yeshiva.

I thought it was funny – one man’s junk another woman’s treasure.

we deffinitly dont mind being made fun of when there is some truth to it. (i dont have to start listing jewish comedians who poke fun at us, we are know for our self-depracating humor for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_humor) but this was just very far from reality. Im a black hat guy ive gone out with many girls, ive never seen or heard of a girl answering her phone or pig out on a date (guys is another story).
The only true point in the video is that we date for marriage ie for children and the world at large dates for fun. hilarious!!!

Kudos to the girl. Her accent is great and she plays the part well.

I thought the girl was pretty funny – considering I’ve gone out with guys who’ve acted in this manner.

I LOVED her reaction when he touched her! Ahahaha!

I found it very corny, the acting really sucked too.
They could have done a lot better.

I agree with those who saw through this was an act on both sides. She didn’t look Chasidic at ALL. Chasidic girls don’t wear jeanskirts.

Hilarious.

She did seem lubavitch at all. Sorry, but Lubavitch girls are more likely to have run into “Seth’s” before. Also, a Lubavitch girl would have mentioned Crown Heights (with perhaps a reference to Eastern Parkway) and would not have said “I heard there are good boys in Williamsburg”.

To All:
This video was simply made as a joke. They made this video randomly with no script, just literally turned on the camera and started talking. It somehow got passed around and made it onto here.I personally thought it was hysterical especially since it was so spare of the moment.
Legit, don’t think that deeply into it.
You guys did an awsome job!
