please notice however that when these articles talk about “snoods being fashionable”– they are actually talking about the round scarves (ie a normal scarf but the dangling ends are connected into a circle) made by American Apparel being wrapped around the head… nothing like the snood I remember from the Ortho community

If snoods make it to Vogue then its something big. I am not a particular fan of snoods and wouldn’t be caught dead in one of those. I would prefer those pre tied bandannas or scarves. Now that we are on the topic of slutty sheitles, I went to a wig fair to check out the lines of sheitles they had. I nearly passed out trying one of those on because the hair knit was too tight and those clips are a nasty piece of work. It also happened to be very hot in that roon which is a phenomenon in most of these wig or clothing shops.

My husband used to refer to snoods as “those things that look like vaccum cleaner bags.”

Yeah, snoods are mad ugly (they even make hot girls ugly). I don’t know what those ladies are thinking; “tichels” are waaay hotter..

So what next, 100 denier stockings for lakewood women without the seam or the Israeli style, not in certain neighborhoods of Jerusalem with the seam.

Or for the cross dressers, can we find out where the hassidishe rebbes get their stockings.

I can just see it, a gay chossid who starts covering their scene. Has to be a hassid, because frankly 1. Polish is in this year 2. how much can you do with just black and white, without satin or furs.

hahah this is great. I actually noticed that snoods seemed to be in style also. Now if tznius clothing could just come into style it would make shopping for clothes a whole lot easier…
