Jewish Bloggers Carnival: Haveil Havalim #228
This is my second time hosting a the weekly Jewish Bloggers Carnival, which features various posts from around the web. I know that many of you reading this have never seen a Jewish Bloggers Carnival before, so here is a short introduction.
What on earth is a Jewish Bloggers Carnival?
The Jewish Bloggers Carnival is hosted each week by a different blogger who volunteers by emailing Jack at email@example.com, if you want to submit your post or posts (don’t be greedy – I usually submit one) just use the Jewish Bloggers Carnival Submission Form. Posts submitted get emailed in that form to whomever is hosting that week, then that person compiles a post with a bunch of links to posts of random blogs.I admit that as I became a larger blogger I kind of shrugged of my responsibility to the J-blogger community, mostly focusing on my own traffic, stand up comedy and freelance writing that was born out of becoming a mega-blogger as the mega-blogger himself Mr. Dov Bear referred to me on Twitter – I feel honored. David Abitbol of Jewlicious also told me that I’m a selfish bastard in more subtle ways. I have always wanted to get back into the J-blogger community and hosting a Carnival is one way in which I can. Besides for this carnival Batya is in charge of the J-Pix and Kosher cooking carnivals which work the same way.
I find it kind of odd that I am hosting the Tisha B’av ladden Carnival and my blog is devoted to humor and not sadness...
