We did showers of maybe 20 girls at a time in the USN. Private showers once we graduated boot camp. And Sgt. J’s right – you’re so busy trying to shower and get out of there without getting screamed at by your company commander that you could care less about the other girls.

Sgt. J – what’s your job in the AF? My stepdaughter was AF Security Forces.

I had a traumitizing experience at the Belzer mikva in Israel. I didn’t want to go to the mikva but my friends convinced me that I had to before Rosh Hashana, and the only mikva open so late before yom tov was Belz. When I showed up there I nearly fainted, since there must have been literally hundreds of chasidim in the mikva (which happens to be pretty big, but there were lots of people there). So you would think who cares, if there are so many people no one will notice you. Well, unfortunately for me, when I took off my shirt I realized that I was the only guy whithout payos and wearing a black tank top/undershirt. That’s when all eyes in my area were averted in my direction for the duration of my time there.

Ok ,sorry I meant “Sergeant” my bad.Oh and by the way I know all the rank don’t even get me started.So what is your rank?And what jobs did you have?I was AGE(Aerospace Ground Equipment)and reached the high rank of Senior Airman.Whatever you do don’t put Krikland AFB on your dream sheet.IT SUCKS BIG TIME

I am still in, have had 3 (4 with two being the same job) AFSCs. I guess you were not in the AF long, because:
A- Everyone knows there are 9 enlisted ranks, but when speaking, you use three, Airman, Sergeant, and Chief.
B- You can’t spell “Sergeant”.
