Team building exercises are cool and a little lame at the same time. I did one of those management outward bound things back in 1987 and it sure was touchy feely (not "me" at all). By the second night, they even got me to join them in the hot tub (20 people in a tub meant for 8!).

Team building exercises always seem sort of lame somehow. At my last job I did a few of those and its always clear to me from the start which people are going to contribute and which need a little push to even do something simple.

Oh and yes Richard Pryor is key.

In an answer to the first question - its tough I have explored both states extensively and been to both multiple times.

Both cities are very accessible to the mountains and beauty around them. Utah is cooler in my opinion, just because I love the orange and pink desert. It depends on whether or not you are sleeping outside, how far you intend to drive around.

If you are driving a bit - Denver is accessible to desert, alpine regions, glaciers and snow capped mountains. Utah offers less but is more rural.
