At some point in time, shul became enjoyable as opposed to being a chore. I feel bad enough missing a mincha or maariv minyan, Shabbos day is unthinkable at this point. It is a problem. I am so tied to an alarm clock. I would (and do) sleep till noon or 1 if people or things don't wake me. I usually ask some one to get me up if its important. When I would oversleep and miss shul I used to tell everyone I davened at Beis Menachem, and it was true :-) Nowadays, on the very rare occasions that I miss shul, I just tell people that I overslept. Of course with 5 little kids, that never happens unless I am away over shabbat on a business trip (and that is rare in itself). Hey, you davened in your room, that’s good.
