Tonight is my ninth and last show for the month of March and what I termed as my try it out see how I like it – tour. It has been fun so far and I would say pretty successful due to the fact that I organized 9 shows for myself with little help and no agent to speak of.

It also wet my feet and made me want to pursue comedy on a more serious level, which means that I have to face the sad truth and move back to the east. Not before I go out to Colorado for several months though and even then who knows how I will feel about moving back to the place I tried so hard to get away from.
Tonights show will be taking place at Puppets Jazz Bar in the Park Slope Section of Brooklyn, after my set , the Hasidic funk band Merkavah will be doing a set as well. You can pay $10 for just me or stay for an extra $5.

I youre targeting frum Jews, NYC is the place to do it. You still have plenty of small town in driving distance if you don’t want to live there. You also might want to hit Miami every once in a while. Colorado is a dead end unless you change careers and become a mountian climber.

you east coasters dont know ANYTHING!! there is plenty of jewish life between the hudson and california! and there are enough jews in denver that it would be worth it to travle here!!!
I meant a dead end as far as a career for a freum comedian. To come up with constant material and be able to make a living, you would need to be around the most frum Jews possible, makes NY and FL the hot spots.

your right. a frum comedian would never make a living in colorado. However, coming out here for just one or two shows would deffinately attract a large crowd.
