When I was living in The Old City, there was a famous one at The Kotel simply known as "Gabbi's Minyan". My friends who went to Hakotel at the time all told me that Rav Bina says that despite the speed he davens at (Shabbos davening less than 2 hours gauranteed!), Gabbi davens with more kavvanah than anyone he's met. Oh, and it starts at like 10pm.

I didn't learn the weekday Amidah until I was in my mid-twenties, and have been pretty much learning my way around the rest of the siddur for most of my adult life, so I am, and will probably always be, an "amateur." My problem is the opposite of Yeshiva Dude's and Veebee's problem--I've been known to be behind the baal tefillah by more than a page. I do much better davvening at home because I can pray at my own relatively glacial pace when I'm alone, but one can only do so much without a minyan, so, on Shabbat and Shalosh Regalim/Festivals, I go to shul for Kriat HaTorah and Musaf.

In order to skip tachanun, let the lazy bum search for every newlywed, bris milah, or mourner he can find- and post which shul this "Tachanun Eliminator" will be davening in.

During my first week of marriage, my presence was in much demand, especially on a Monday.
