And does anyone know if it's against halachah to spray sukkah walls with Camp Dry or Scotchguard? Surely there's gemara on that, no? I think I convinced my dad to get a new sukkah for next year, though. The 1987 model isn't worth the time it takes to erect it. Are there charities that want old sukkahs?
