I recent got a hold of the 1st Marveous Midos Machine album from . I am in love with this stuff. It just brings back such memories, memories of falling asleep at night and getting the honor to attend 4 different elementary schools.
It is so interesting how I can remember word for word, albums that I haven’t heard in 20 years or so. I put it on my Ipod so now I can drive around and blast Dr Middos and shnuki all day long.
Funny how this is the only kids music I can listen to and be entertained.

How can a self-described yeshiva bachur not be wearing a white shirt?
I think that’s what neighbors lent us for “trekker” when he was in traction 18 years ago.
technical question–are you happy with youtube? I’ve been trying to upload the grandson building a tower, I’m using blogger and it’s slow.
Baruch hashem you found your way out of the closet!
BLOGGER SUCKS!!! no offense of course- but if you take a look at professional bloggers most of them use wordpress
I feel so cheated! I bought the DVD for my son, and the songs were cut short! I know all the songs in my head, so I know there were more words to many of those songs. I guess it was too much to animate.
Hesh, at least you can admire my grandson before you make fun of my blog location.

Would I get more hits etc if I upgraded?
If you upgraded to what? Wordpress?
Email me if you want to get more traffic… there are lots of issues- I was thinking of doing a post on this one of these days.
Four elementary schools? That’s really rough man. Perma-new kid status makes being the class fat/weird kid look like a walk in the park. Things like that shape your personality for life.
I actually just realized that as I wrote this. I forgot of my two schools which I have no recollection of because I was too young.
From first to last.
Yeshivah Ketanah of upper west side

Manhattan Day School
Providence Hebrew Day School
I should write a post about this.
MMM has always been my favorite Jewish children’s material. You know it’s all by Abie Rotenberg? There are some real classics on there – Together comes to mind.
@Future Druggie the songs on the albums aren’t full length. that’s how all kids’ tapes are – short songs about good deeds etc. they’re not meant to be like a music album.
marveloud middos machine scared me as a kid— there was a bad guy or something…? i vaguely remember it
