Hava-Negilah Judaism is bascially the type of Judaism that permeates American lifestyle in that anything to do with Bagels, Herring and Maneshevezt wine is what orthodox Jews do. These Jews also make the stupidest, most inaccurate videos on you tube, I have favorited many of them- and you can take a look at my You Tube Page Favorites for more.
This is my award for the top 5 stupidest secular Jewish videos on You Tube
Miriam and Shoshana
Jewz in da hood
Orthodox Jewish Girls gone wild- clean
Homeboy Hanukah- whack
Crank that Kosha Boy

I’ve always enjoyed Kosha boy to some degree but that Miriam and Shoshana video should be sent to youtube hell. It was obvious in minutes who they really were mainly because I don’t think girls going to Drav Meir are capable of uploading a video to begin with or composing rhyming lyrics. The secular crap only made it staler. If they used even 5 yeshivish terms it would be semi-believeable but they aren’t even affiliated enough to know what Kvitlach means.

The only solution is to make your own. I’m sure if you write a script as a post some fan would make it.

First of all I did a response video to the Miriam and Shoshana- I guess due to the title “bais yaakov girls gone wild” it has gotten almost 8,000 views- its not even a funny video or dirty for that matter- I basically rail on them for spending all that money on something so stupid.

The most bizarre Hava Nagila has to be the british pop version, called hava nagila baby lets dance.

Very odd. But notice in its own weird way it is kinda tzneius because its only woman dancing.

You’ve gotta give credit for the jewz in da hood one - that’s pretty funny

Sorry, re-watch that Hava Nagila video…
Mixed dancing at 1:55, 2:28, 2:46, 3:00, 3:14, and then the entire video is interspersed with younger boys dancing, but I guess it depends on how frum you wanna be…
(P.S. Why can’t she pronounce ‘V’nismicha’?)

Wow Nemo, you really have to much time on your hands… But thanks for clarifying!

I have to agree that the Shoshana and Miriam video was scary. I really didn’t get it. Who were they making fun of, exactly? But Jewz in Da Hood was really kind of awesome, and the Jewish Girls Gone Wild video was also pretty funny.
If only one could properly satirize them all in one supersatire…the satire to rule all satires…. with a cape….

The best Jewish holiday satire is the Nickelodeon classic show Weinerville, and its Chanukah episode.

Rivka- Nah, I’ve just seen it before and the same though occurred to me when I watched it, but I saw how they snuck the guys in their inconspicuously.

if nothing else, the way they say their own names (show-SHA-na) should give it away.
i agree that there is def. a spot in youtube hell for this one

Not sure if this comment thread is dead or not, so here goes:
The Girls Gone Wild skit was nothing more than a fake commercial ran during a reunion episode of a public access show. It took all of 5 minutes to write, 5 minutes to shoot and about 30 minutes to edit. None of us are “chosen” (hence the overly-stereotypical references), we just tried to had a little bit of fun with it, as there have been so many GGW parodies that we couldn’t come up many good ideas. It wasn’t done in poor taste, although I could certainly see it being ranked as one of the five stupidest secular Jewish videos on Youtube. About 25% of our skits were out-and-out unwatchable, and this was one of them. If you’d like, you can check out the rest of our stuff on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/hardcorner
