Ben you rock, I can just see a whole movement of frummy sheitle wearing power metal fans. And even Rob Halford could understand- him being gay and all.

Of course they caved, welcome to the free market Left Flatbush- the free market is great because economics- not chumras tell the market what to do- unfortunately the free market is being dictated by a bunch of tyrannical Rabbis. They should just have let the owner do his own thing, if people get offended they wont shop thre- why do you think all the non-Jewish owned business are shomer shabbos.

Yeah, but the kitchen kinda functions like an office for me. I don’t have a desk in my room, nor do I have any space. Besides this is a youtube video, not a professional movie set. Not to mention, I was already in the middle of something.

UPDATE: Boycott Against Flatbush Shaitel Store Over
February 14, 2008

YWN had posted a letter from Rav Aron Schecter Shlita a few weeks ago calling on people not to enter a Shaitel store on Coney Island Avenue. The store, located across the street from Yeshiva Chaim Berlin had refused to remove large inappropriate photos of women hanging in the store window.

Today, a new letter has been written by Rav Aron Schecter telling everyone that Boruch Hashem, the store-owner has removed the photos – changing the situation from “Chillul Hashem to Hillel Hashem”.

Personally I’m just not attracted to it. Thats the purpose really, but who doesn’t want to be attracted to their own wife? And yeah of course they say “the husband” can see it. But many women these days have the tendency to wear it at home most of the time too. And even if she uncovers her hair at home, it’s NOTHING like it used to be because the hair isnt as rich and shiny like it was because it’s always covered and smushed. Not very pretty.

Side note, I put on my mother’s shaitel last night and blasted some Judas Priest. That gear is great for headbanging and getting the feeling of what it’s like to have long hair at a metal concert swishing in every direction. She took it away claiming I was ruining it.
