Thank you Eh: If you know comic writers we tend to exaggerate quite a bit, I have a crazy imagination and write whatever I think is funny, sometimes its a stretch, most of the times its true but I like to bring it close to the reader, especially with food- just look at what my food category is called.

B"H I won't say too much on this topic. I know that I'll just get pummeled. I don't really care. It's just that I don't really see the point in getting pummeled.

Hesh, when I get married, and you can come, then be forewarned that the se'udath erusin will be men only anyway. My fiancee will make her own at her father's with her family and girlfriends.

The wedding I intend to have men and women separate, at the huppah and at the se'udah.

My feeling is that the bottom line is that it's like being in that couple's home. If you don't like they way they do things, they don't come.
I choose not to hang out at mixed weddings. I just come, say mazal tov, stay as long as I'm comfortable, which is basically the huppah, then leave. But, I don't have a cow over it, and tell people what they should or shouldn't do.

Likewise, I hope people don't have a cow at my wedding if they can't sit with their spouses, cruise, what have you. The last thing that needs happen at the wedding is to add to the stress of the couple. If there's plenty of notice beforehand as to how the wedding will be, and the couple has already worked things out with their rabbeim, then I say 98% of the time, leave 'em alone.

"I would have to readily disagree with you. Thats like calling all who touch the opposite sex, cheap whores."

Well maybe i was judging, sorry. Not that it's an excuse, but sometimes the BP gets the better of me. Have a blast in Mexico.

I thought this was pretty funn, however you need to stop talking about women like we are some "juicy steak" I understand this is satire but still... .
"I did not just sit at the edge of the mechitza like a starved wolf with my drool gathering at the sides of my mouth while I stared at potential girls for myself."

reeeally now....! Have somw respect and be a little classier!

but lookin' is a gateway drug (so to speak). :covers eyes: [/facetious] I (31) had a great conversation with my little sister (14, goes to an MO yeshiva) last night about dating and guys who are shomer negia. Smart kid -- after saying it would be difficult and that she had done that, but then they broke up (over other stuff, presumably), she said being with someone who's shomer negia would be good, "because then you would know it isn't just physical." (I'm guessing she meant the attraction.) We both agreed that we could understand a short engagement, if that were the case.
